Monday Artday - Beatrix Potter

Here is my Monday Artday submission and collage tribute to the talented Ms Beatrix Potter. I have truly been influenced by her work throughout my career and have enjoyed reading her lovely tales to my children.
Hope everyone has a wonderful day and thanks for stopping by.

Lisa, this is lovely! Beatrix Potter is one of my favorite artists as well... This composition is delightful, the big close up of that sweet bunny looking straight at you (nice work on the fur!) and all the other characters as well. A lovely tribute!

Wonderful job on this! A fitting tribute to a great artist.

I agree with Melissa, if you have not yet seen the movie of her life, check it out.

Absolutely wonderful, Lisa! I enjoy Beatrix Potter. She is the reason I drew bunnies all over my school notebooks. Thanks for the memories.

Thanks so much everyone. And the Potter movie has been mentioned to me before... is this the one with Renee Zelwegger playing her?
It sounds really great, I need to rent it when I have more time to sit down and enjoy a good movie. ;)

Hi Lisa, thanks so much for stopping by and leaving such encouraging words. As I have already said before I think this is a wonderful tribute to one of the greatest children's book illustrator that ever lived. If she would have seen your work here she would be very proud. Just Excellent!

Beautiful illustration. Who is Beatrix Potter, some good friend of Harry? In Italy we don't now her.

Where did those mice find those tiny balloons? Maybe a tiny party goods store. Beatrix Potter played a big part of my childhood story times. My favorite was the Tale of Two Bad Mice.
