Today, I wanted to highlight one of the projects that I am proud to be a part of. It is a magazine that is published as a resource for children and families in southern New Hampshire called Kidz Rule USA. Each issue is loaded with fun games, contests, articles, puzzles, crafts, and local happenings. The publisher is also a big supporter of children's literacy.
This magazine not only feeds the creative designer in me, but also allows me to spread my wings as an illustrator by working on story illustrations, line art and hidden picture puzzles.
If you're in New Hampshire or have friends/family here, I would certainly recommend subscribing to Kidz Rule USA on the website or even purchase a gift subscrition. Check out the current issue at www.kidzruleusa.com.
One more quick recommendation. I recently discovered Cozi.com, which is a FREE online service that helps to organize your life. While it is geared to families... anyone can use it. The website is easy to navigate, has a color-coded calendar, a section for grocery lists and recipes, and a cool screen saver that can showcase your favorite photos. You can set it up so other members can log on and view it almost anywhere AND it will send out messages for you to both email accounts and cell phones (with text option). Really worth a peak!
