Mini painting

Good Morning All! I know it has been too long since my last post - but I am back and ready to keep everyone more up to date on my creative happenings. Lately, I have been very busy working on design and photography assignments, and in the coming months I will be working on a childrens book! The past few months have been busy, there were some wonderful creative developments and a few disappointments too, but I am in the studio with renewed vigor/inspiration and have truly missed you guys. Can't wait to catch up on all you have been doing ~ plan on my stopping by over my cup of coffee this week. =)
I leave you today with a little mini painting that I worked on from my sun porch. I just love the birch trees in our backyard - so striking and regal against any seasonal backdrop.
Have a great day~
Lisa

Thanks Diana - I strive to reach your creative energy level someday. =)
It did feel good to just sit in the sun and paint my own backyard. Nice to just play with the brushes/acrylics sometimes. =)

But I can imagine that sometimes blogging is just too much when you are busy.

Can't wait to see and hear about your book and other projects!

Hey Lisa, how wonderful it was to see your face on my blog page!!!! Happy is not even the word. I have been thinking about and the family for a little bit. Hope that all is well with you. I miss you over at watercolor wednesday, but I know how the summer and back to school really is. I'm just glad to see your post. I would come by just to see if you had posted anything new. I'm glad to see that you are busy at work cause us illustrators have to get paid for what we do. Food doesn't just show up on the table he he he! Thanks so much for your very kind words and your support. I really appreciate your friendship Lisa. I'll keep you posted and you keep me posted he he he! Take care.
