WIP - Spot Illustration

watercolor & pencil illustration by Lisa M Griffin

As promised, the work in progress I am sharing is a sweet spot illustration for the story I am currently illustrating. This little guy is a black capped Chickadee, created in watercolor and prisma pencils. Posted are two pics... the initial ground work and then a bit of progression.
What are you working on this week?
And if you haven't followed along yet, please do, the more the merrier around here! :)
